"... the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light." (LUKE16:8)
There exists a parallel in the mental progress of the Christian Science Church, and the modern astrophysical sciences learned in school --that by which the heavens could be measured (JER): It is the ongoing refinement of stability in measurement, beyond the rule of iron; It comes-about in the definition of the metric system of measure (SI, System Internationale; Ref. NIST, National Institute of Science and Technology), because it is the very nothingness of mortal mind assaying to establish itself in its purest measure of its nothingness, according to its belief in the constancy of cosmic matter: its attempt to gain the mathematically clean absolute vacuum of cosmic space;- while in Christian Science we learn the opposite of error is true: that all space is filled with Love; and the consequent nothingness of matter and error.

This result is timely, and lends insight to the present tense of mortal belief progressing out of its erroneous selfhood. We proffer the following recent-era timeline as corroborative that error always seems ready at Truth's heel. This item may be called, exacta, rather than, errata:- the on-going adjustment of the human advance towards perfection.

Definition of the Meter [excerpt/NIST] Development of The Mother Church
1791
"The International System (formerly called the Metric System) is the decimal system of weights and measures based on the meter and the kilogram. The essential features of the system were embodied in a report to the French National Assembly by the Paris Academy of Sciences. The USA Constitution "Bill of Rights" is ratified, Amendment 1. assuring the freedom of religion in establishment and exercise, unabridgeable in speech and the press, and in the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition [*] the government for redress of grievances.
1866
"By act of the U.S. Congress, the use of the metric system was legalized in this country, but was not made obligatory. Mrs. Mary [Morse] Baker [Glover] Patterson [Eddy] discovers Christian Science in an event of self-healing of injury.
1875
"On May 20, the Treaty of the Meter was signed by twenty countries, including the United States, at the International Metric Convention. As a result, the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (Bureau Intérnational des Poids et Mésures, BIPM) was established. Oct 31/Nov 1 - Publication of Science and Health. [with Key to the Scriptures, added later]
1892
"Michelson used an interferometer that he developed to determine the length of the International Prototype Meter in terms of the exceptionally coherent cadmium red line wavelength. First Church Edition of Science and Health, by Mary Baker Eddy. [Edifice finished 1894]
1921
"A. Perard began a systematic study of the radiations of cadmium, mercury, helium, neon, krypton, zinc and thallium, to determine which might best serve as defining lengths. Litigation: Church Board of Trustees VS Publishing Society Board of Trustees: determination of "Final Authority" - a legal invention: Successorship question entertained.
1950
"Cadmium 114, mercury 198, and krypton 86 were candidates to be a new definition of the meter based on the wavelength of light. 40 years since Rev. Eddy - "the moment of Truth" for the Mother Church;

[1951] Seminal year of to-be-announced Successor.

1960
"On October 14, the Eleventh General Conference on Weights and Measures redefined the International Standard of Length as 1,659,763.73 vacuum wavelengths of light resulting from unperturbed atomic energy level transition 2p10 5d5 of the krypton isotope having an atomic weight of 86.
1964
"Helium-Neon stabilized laser wavelengths were coming into use as length standards. Although the laser wavelength was generally accepted as a secondary standard, its widening use was mainly based on its remarkable coherence. Long distances could be measured by laser interferometry that would be impossible with atomic light sources. [1963] Successor-to-be presents his junior high school science project report on population inversion in (gas) masers and lasers.
1980
"The iodine stabilized Helium-Neon laser wavelength was accepted as a length standard. It had a wavelength uncertainty of 1 part in 1010 at the time. Distinct shift to light-mettle Christian Science.
Board of Directors advised of their woes to come.
The Successor begins his career, proffers new help.
1983
"On October 20, the meter was redefined again. The definition states that the meter is the length of the path traveled by light in vacuum during a time interval of 1/299,792,458 of a second. The speed of light is
    c = 299,792,458 m/s
The second is determined to an uncertainty, U = 1 part in 1014 by the Cesium clock. The General Conference made the iodine stabilized Helium-Neon laser a recommended radiation for realizing the meter at this time."
[1982] The Successor to Rev. Eddy takes the Church-provided Primary Class Instruction;- then part-time lectures in pre-calculus college and high school mathematics (cf his 1969 Scholarship).

[1984] MonitorRadio, -a pull-back recalibration; subsequent World Monitor and Monitor TV/Channel, but to obsolescence.

[1984] The Successor discovers Pluton [Planet X] by time-series analysis of sun-spot cycles: that which was hidden from the foundation of the Earth.

1992-96
The Successor (project 'lambhorn' founder) cracks the time code of DANIEL - this (his second) time fitted with historic relevance; Puts the Church back on its path; Invents and publicizes true metric time, the hesit, and its direct "mph" solution; [1996] Publishes project 'lambhorn' directly to the internet-web.
2001
  The Successor (project 'lambhorn' Trustee-Director) discovers garden depressions eastward in Eden, by examination of recent satellite photo-imagery: Thus locating Jehovah's select garden within about 30 miles.

* [petition, shares its linguistic root with rock and wing, even, feather: Latin petition-, petitio, from pettus, past participle of petere, to request, to seek, to go to; Greek petesthai, to fly, pteron, wing; New Latin petri- or petro- from Greek petr-, petro-, from petros, stone, petra, rock]

[We must note here in closing that the plausible actual would become speculative if we merely imagine what persons may have done, said, meant ... the importance is in the demonstration of the Christ Science: not to rediscover that which is today abundant, but discern and live it]

The teachings hereďn are not secularized nor classified: Sunday School pupils, Primary Class students, Normal Class graduates, scholars, researchers, astronomers, scientists, governments, find this coursework timely, modern, global, historical, democratic. The syllabus is the ALMS Program: Astronomics, Linguistics, Mathematics, Systematics: Scientific inferentiation on Holy Biblical Scripture: What actually happened.
